Colts Neck Racquet Club

CJ Milano
Certified Pickleball Teaching Professional
As you may know, Colts Neck Racquet Club is now offering pickleball. In inclusion to the new program, the club has hired a pickleball associate, C.J. Milano. C.J. is a senior at Freehold High School, and is studying to go into the hospitality field. One of his many interests is pickleball.
He began playing about three years ago on Long Beach Island. At that time the game was being played in a school parking lot with a portable net and wooden paddles. Since then The Borough of Beach Haven had hired C.J. as a summer employee. The town built six permanent courts with permanent nets and C.J., along with a few others, hosted their first tournament of about 200 people this past summer.
At Colts Neck Racquet Club C.J. will continue to do what he loves to do most: spread the pickleball craze. He will be orchestrating open play, giving clinics and lessons, and will help run tournaments and round robins in the future. One of C.J.’s main goals in life is to make pickleball an Olympic event. He wants Colts Neck Racquet Club to be a part of that pickleball craze.
